I am an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Haifa.
I am interested in mathematical questions that arise from artificial or biological neural computation. And on a broader scope, in theoretical questions at the intersection between learning theory and information theory.
I did all my studies at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and I was a postdoctoral researcher at EPFL working with Prof. Michael Gastpar. I completed my PhD in math under the supervision of Prof. Amir Yehudayoff. My BSc is in Aerospace Engineering, and I have worked in the industry while pursuing my MSc in pure math under the supervision of Prof. Uri Bader, where I studied connections between group theory and measure theory.

On the personal side, I enjoy paragliding, surfing, and traveling. The cover photo was taken while paragliding over the Swiss Alps.
